"Mike my waiter was awesome. He was very attentive and polite. Food was delicious. This place is great for family gatherings, work parties, and birthdays too. My only concern was the place looks beautiful but had no music. Usually on a Mexican Restaurant & Bar there’s music. Too bad when I ask the manager she said we can’t have music because people don’t like it."

"I was on a work assignment in Childress for two weeks and The Plaza became my favorite restaurant. The green chili enchilada dish pictured in the menu is a treat, but every dish I tried was delicious. I prefer the charro beans to refried any day. Visit the bar for the best experience."

"My Mom lives in Quanah and our family has visited this place for years whenever we’re home … it’s top notch. They’ve done renovations that look fantastic, the food and atmosphere are always excellent. This restaurant is very clean and always has plenty of employees so the service is quick and excellent. On this visit we had Cesar Jr. and he was on his game, always there with quick refills and everything we needed. The food was hot and delicious. Highly recommend this place, it’s hard to find Mexican food this good in the panhandle area."

"We had a reservation for 22 people and The Plaza took great care of us! We celebrated a birthday and there was a lot of kids and they did so well. Every meal was correct and delicious, the drinks were great, waters were always full. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but she busted her butt for us she did so great!!"

"The food looked delicious. I ordered the, pick your own, 2 enchilada plate. I got 2 shredded chicken, one w/sour cream sauce and one w/jalapeño cream sauce. I was very excited about having some spice in the sauce. Sadly, it did not, not even a little. It needed flavor, it was all bland. It looked beautiful but, for me, the flavor just wasn't there. The avocado, full size, was a large portion, but it was pricy. The chip's hot sauce was bland too. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Food came out pretty quick. It was nice n hot which I loved. Looked family friendly. Definitely a great place for lunch break. Music was playing kind of loud, it's ok if you're just going in to eat but you can't really have a conversation w/o talking loud. I would probably go again just bcuz our waitress was great and the restaurant itself looked very clean."
